Hello! My name is Tim Birdwell. My family and I moved to Austin, TX in 2009 to plant a church. As we got started, I quickly learned how tough it was to live and lead missionally. I also quickly learned that the theories and philosophies I learned in Seminary would only take me so far :).

So, with the help of a few friends, I created this site to help with the practical side of mission. Our aim is to provide insight, stories, and examples from missional people who are actually doing what they write about. We hope it is an encouragement to you and would love to hear your feedback!
